| Since I was young I have wanted to be an artist, but
never felt that I was good enough. I had given up completely for
a few years, but then one day the fall colours of the trees
inspired me to take out my craft paints and give it another try.
Perhaps it was finding the right medium, or the time was right,
or both, but I was actually happy with the results and kept it
up. A whole new world had opened up for me. Inspiration is everywhere. I find it in the beauty of nature and the Manitoba landscape. Even as I branch into fantasy work, I am still influenced by my surroundings. I am also motivated by seeing the work of others.
